Guiding Principles

  1. Covenant is preferred over contract.
  2. People are capable of just about anything, they only trot out the “bad stuff” when they feel they are at risk. Don’t put them at risk. That’s not nice anyway.
  3. People will choose risk and effort when there’s a reasonable expectation that it will help people and be appreciated.
  4. Whenever possible, reduce risk with love, trust, connection, surplus and preparation.
  5. Sometimes you have to break with convention to change convention.
